Com meio milh\u00e3o de livros, uma hemeroteca abrangente e v\u00e1rios documentos em geral, suas depend\u00eancias foram visitadas por leitores e pesquisadores de v\u00e1rias regi\u00f5es brasileiros e mesmo vindos do exterior.
